Advantage and Disadvantages of Wireless Communication
Convenience. The thought of not being stuck up in a place to use your personal computers, phones, and other communications is enough to say the advantage the wireless communication brings. The joy of not having to use a lot of chords to connect, to carry along the device from different places without worrying about where to plug in the equipments, and the convenience it brings while you are juggling different tasks in the office, at home, in the mall, at the park, when your phone beeps, you can always count it to service you just like a wired phone.
But just as many of its advantages, you can also count for its negative sides.
One of the downside the wireless communications bring is during low signals, since wireless phones are heavily dependent on the satellite to connect to the web.
Moreover, organizations that adopt wireless networks have to consider the security implications. They suffer from the same basic weakness as wired networks: Some unknown party might be listening in on the conversation. Any information transported across a network must be encrypted to ensure that it remains private. The problem is amplified in wireless networks since anyone with the right equipment in physical proximity might be able to capture your network traffic, gain unprotected passwords, and launch an attack on your computers (T., Catherine (2002)).
