Application Letter for Accountancy Profession
The long-term and increasing need for advanced accounting education and training coupled with accountants who adheres strictly to the accounting principles and values is established in the corporate world where a great deal of accounting is necessary for businesses. The financial and staff-resource problems in relation to both developed and, much more seriously, countries suggest the need for a more flexible, cost-effective, and appropriate response by the countries than simple reliance on the delivery of traditional programs--particularly for research. Thus, within this context, budding accountants like me, has only one option- to go to the most reputable and the best schools which offer accountancy courses that can provide the technical and the value-based training that the accountancy profession is needing.
Your University (name of the University, please fill in) offers one of the best training grounds for future accountants. From my background research and testimonials of students, your University provides the skills necessary to be one of the best accountants in the country. Thus, it is with my humble intention to be included in your roaster of students. I understand that your University in concurrence with its tradition of excellence also imposes rigid qualifications on students in order to train the best and those who can survive the rigor of the course.
On my part, my intention to be an accountant and a good one for that matter can be reflected in my enrollment in preparatory courses where I have earned credits which reflects the potentials that I possess. Being a second year student in Richland College, I have earned 36 credit hours and will be completing the 54 credits this year. My GPA, 4.0, shows that I am both a diligent and disciplined student- a trait that is needed for a student in accounting. Moreover, my desire to excel in the field also propelled me to build on my capabilities in the accounting field. For several years now, accounting books and journals has been a constant fixture in my daily routine. Even the business section newspapers is not spared in my daily routine as I uphold that reading enhances not only my intellectual skills but also introduces me to the complex profession that I am aiming to join.
Working hard and striving for more than what I can achieve is not something new for me. I have lived in Ethiopia and have only transferred for the last three years in the United States. As such, my exposure to the hardships and the realization that only through education can I best achieve my dreams has been inculcated in my mind. It also this hardship where I can prove my worth as an aspiring accounting student in your University.
However, due to the lack of available financial support, I have forwarded my application for a scholarship in your University which can allow me to achieve and fulfill my aspiration of being an accountant. I assure the University that whatever help it can give me will be worth for as my resume shows, I am a hard worker and shall not waste the opportunity that will be bestowed upon me if given the chance.
