The Significance of the Study of Judaism in the Other Religions
Judaism is a religion, philosophy, and way of life of the Jewish people. This is hence, considered the expression of the covenant relationships of the Jewish populace with God which is revealed by HIS laws and the oral and written commandments to Moses on the Mount Sinai during the earliest time. In this connection, Torah has been considered also as Humanistic Judaism through Torah. Judaism has been a religion for more than 3,000 years; and the oldest monotheistic religion in the world. It has survived even during this modern generation. Furthermore, Judaism greatly influenced the formation of Christianity, Islam and even Baha'i religions all throughout the world. In 2010, the Jewish population had raised to 13.4 million, or roughly 0.2% of the total world population. And about 42% of all Jews are living in Israel, while there are 42 percent who live in the United States and Canada. The rest are residing in Europe. In fact, the largest Jewish religious movements are Hareidi Judaism and Modern Orthodox Judaism. The Orthodox Judaism only differs from Hareidi Judaism by maintaining the Torah and Jewish law, for they have been considering them as most divine parts of their beliefs and religion. And, these two religious laws must be strictly followed and practiced by the Jewish people. Thus, Conservative and Reform Judaism are more liberal, for they generally promoting a more "traditional" interpretation of Judaism's requirements than Reform Judaism alone. According to the Hebrew Bible, God promised Abraham to make his children as great creations and make this world a great place to live by all Abraham's offspring. Later, many generations came in Israel and Abraham commanded them to love and worship one God. At the same time, he also commanded the Jewish nation to love one another, and do what God did for HIS love of the entire people. These two commandments of God are the most significant practices that Jewish people have been applying and practicing in their daily living and personal experiences, as well as during their personal communication with God wherever they are in the world. Judaism teaches the Jewish people that God is always present in their lives everyday. And, whatever things occur in them, it is always with God's permission and reasons. Another great implications of Judaism's faith and principles that God never fails to show HIS love and kindness mankind. The daily sustenance of people in this earth is already a miracle that only God can do. The air that the people breathe everyday is already an enormous manifestation that God is always in the people's hearts. HIS holiness is also the holiness of the people, and, for this reason, people should take good care of their bodies and souls from any devious acts and practices, because the human's body is also considered the temple of the holy spirit of God. Therefore, the daily conduct of man must be well-observed, by being kind, merciful and gracious at all times to other people. And, because God is in the people's hearts, they must keep themselves away from defilement, lascivious acts, adultery and killings.

On the other hand, there were several Jewish philosophers who argued whether God is immanent or transcendent, and whether man has free will to live his life in accordance with his own will and desire. Because of this religious issue hovers around, many different interpretations of ethical monotheism were came out, and it included the rise of Christianity in the world. Moreover, some non-creedal religious sectors in the society have observed that Judaism or Jewish Law is more essential than the Jewish people's belief in God. In modern times, some liberal Jewish movements do not accept the existence of a personified deity in their religious practices. In similar way, some scholars in the world, proposed many concepts of Judaism core tenets. The most popular formulation is the Maimonides' thirteen principles of faith which were developed way back in the 12th century. And, no matter what religious sector the man belongs, the most important thing is people have one common denominator and that is to follow strictly the commandments of God; as the great guidelines of man in order to live happily and sacredly and productively in this earth.
